There are currently reported 369,834 positive coronavirus cases in Florida. Palm Beach County (PBC) has a population of 1.5 million, with 26.9 thousand positive cases, or 7% of the state’s total, Broward and Miami report 12%, and 24%, respectively.
Currently, the ratio of infected persons in PBC is 1 out of every 56 people; the rate of infection has not decelerated in PBC. So, what should each individual do about this? Here is what the Director of the CDC has to say.
“We are not defenseless against COVID-19,” said CDC Director Dr. Robert R. Redfield. “Cloth face coverings are one of the most powerful weapons we have to slow and stop the spread of the virus – particularly when used universally within a community setting. All Americans have a responsibility to protect themselves, their families, and their communities.”
